  4. Abigail,

I am so proud of your academy! The site looks great. For those interested in services with Abigail Academy, I have known Abigail for over 15 years and she truly is an inspirational leader who exudes what she teaches! She has been there for me through many seasons of life and she is one of the first I call when life hits a rough patch. Abigail, keep up the excellent work! I am so proud of you.

  5. Abigail,

Thank you so much for being a panelist speaker at our Tuesday's with Today's Woman event. Based on your presentation, it was very clear that you have a passion for what you do and understand the issues some teenage girls experience. I think you did a great job answering questions posed by our guests and we look forward to working with you in the future. Thanks again!

  6. I visited Abigail Academy for the first time this past week and I'm totally impressed. Abigail possesses a special gift which she uses to help young women gain self-esteem, experience peace, and achieve actualization. It's easy to understand her enthusiasm for her work as she recognizes and is truly grateful for her talents, abilities and the opportunities to help so many young women. It must be very fulfilling to know your life's work is directly making such a difference.

  8. A week ago I was a 20 year old, unemployed college student halfway done with my uninspiring summer. This was not where I wanted to be. Abigail and I worked on coming up with two specific goals for how I was going to implement some positive changes into my sloth-like routine. They were both aggressive goals, one to find a job within the week that met my specific criteria and the other to start exercising daily. To compliment these goals and keep them constantly in mind I came up with two “I Am” affirmations. Now a mere seven days later I have walked 11 miles, applied for 4 jobs have one that I enjoy and another one that I’m about to start. I am amazed and very pleased with my timely transformation. Now with five weeks left of my summer I’m exactly where I want to be. I can only imagine how much I can accomplish in that time frame giving what I have managed to do this past week.

  9. I was a little worried when I was told that I would be attending "Abigail Academy". No, it wasn't a school, it was a life coaching system. I thought that it meant I would be stared at by stiff-coated doctors who would put me into categories according to what I wanted or how I acted or felt. I was relieved to find that this was nothing of the sort. She was perfectly friendly and even allowed me time to relax, along with assuring me that she wouldn't be placing me into labels of any sort. I'm looking forward to coming back and talking with her again!

  10. Abigail, Again, thank you for your work with Anna. She came home from her session with you energized, more alive than she has been for a while. Thanks especially for opening the door to the Speed Museum for her. You are right on target.

  11. Dear Abigail, Thank you for your time, your sensitivity, and your skill. Anna has been in a better (more hopeful) mood since she saw you and so have I. The pain, confusion, fear, frustration that we have been in around the issue of career development has damaged Anna's self-confidence and the tension has damaged our relationship as well. Fear and grief erode our capacity to move in a positive direction. Thank you once again for being willing to help.

    Sincerely,

    Linda Luking

  14. Wow! I'm so glad that you're starting this awesome program. I hope that young girls take advantage of such a great opportunity. Teenage and high school years bring about many new adventures and new temptations. I wish I could have had a program like this to be a part of to help keep me grounded as these new experiences came about in my life. Abigail, you will be such a great mentor for these girls! God sure is using you to help make a difference in these young girls lives. Thanks for doing this...Louisville needs a program like this!

  16. Girls,
Abigail has been through some amazing journeys and I encourage you all to learn from her! She is the most amazing friend and confidant and you will be so blessed to be with her for just a few days. I have known her for most of my life and I thank God to have her in my life.

To all of you- keep going for your dreams and never give up. Plays sports, even when you arent good at them. Get a bike (one that doesnt do the driving for you), and ride it often, try it in the rain, its fun (except take off your makeup first!)... Take your own advice more than others- you are much smarter than you think, and lastly, but certainly not least, thank God every day, for every thing- even when you are hurt. God knows what he is doing.

Abs- thanks for putting together an amazing forum for girls to grow and learn from you and each other. God has given you a gift and you are using it every day. I am so proud of you!

    Love you all,
    Amy

  17. Girls it is such an exciting time of year! We are alligned with the seasons of the universe and we are springing into our best selves as the world around us and within us blooms! Congratulate your self on making it through the winter, the slumber season, and moving forward as your inner strenghts explode with the spring and summer approaching! In your quiet time today, I encourage you to make a list of assets you find within yourself. What are your strengths, your favorite characteristics, and your innate talents? Keep adding to the list this week and celebrate this by making time for yourself this weekend and do something you enjoy! Today, I want to share my gratitudes with you...Sping weather with the fresh air coming through the open windows, friends and family in town for the Derby festivities, and living a sober and honest life with courage and faith! Please feel free to sign the guest book and share whats on your mind any time! Until next week.... Enjoy the moment and make it a great day! Love Abigail

  18. Today I am grateful for the gift of renewal! I have been going non stop for the past few days and unfocused on my values and priorities. I have been in "comparing" mode. This is a dangerous place for me to be- I compare myself to others, my body, money, house, friends, career, family, relationships...all of it! As soon as I get back to living in my values and focusing on being the best me I can be then the pressure and anxiety leaves me. Here, with peace and the attitude of serving I am much better with all of the things I was comparing only days before. When I live with an attitude of gratitude and focus on how I can serve and give back to others and my community I am naturally radiant, attractive to others, and confident. This is the way I strive to live daily! If you want help learning how to live on purpose and with confidence and high self esteem call me- we can talk about where you are today and where you want to be in the future. If you are willing to be willing, greatness awaits you! Make it a great day and weekend!!!

  19. Today I am grateful for the time we spend in silence, prayer, and giving thanks. It is near Easter that I am reminded that we are here to serve and love, and with each step we take both in serving and loving we are living in alignment with our true core and purpose. With serving and loving as my main focus for the day, I am reminded that it is my gift to be authentic and true to my own desires and help others along the way and to show love through my actions and also let others love me. Today, I make a promise to myself to let others love me, to love others, and to let others help me and I too will help along my journey! Take today as an opportunity to see how you can be of service, and then celebrate the great rewards that come from these acts! Let your light shine girls, and help others light the light within them! Love Abigail

  20. Good Morning Girls!
Today I am thankful for New York City, as I am working up here today it reminds me that we are free to travel, be safe in our country, and we are able to live anyway we would like. I am reminded that our world consist of the messages we put into our minds, and when we leave our world within our mind, we are exposed to newness and energy that has hope, excitement, and color in it! Today, I encourage you to do something out of your comfort zone in whatever capacity you are comfortable with- take a break form whatever you are doing and invite newness and excitment into your day...It will in fact appear! Today, in addition to NYC, I am truly thankful to be here serving you and feeling sure of my divine purpose to teach young women self-courage and self-love...all one day at a time! Happy Day! Love, Abigail

  21. Today I am thankful for good friends, old and new, musicians, mentors, teachers, city workers, government workers, employees who don't always enjoy the job but there persevere. I like to also give thanks to the magical moments we have through out the day when we see natural miricles in moments that make us happy. I am also thankful for reminders, people, places, and things, that take us to a hppy memory. Today, take time to look for a natural miricle in your day- pause to say thank you for the moment of gratitude for the experience and for life!!
